WordAlone Ministries is a large group of individuals and congregations working together. Through prayer, effort, and gifts, we carry forward the work to provide resources and services needed by the new Biblical and confessional Lutheran landscape we see God establishing in North America. WordAlone Ministries Commitment
I hereby join with WordAlone Ministries, an organization of Lutheran individuals and congregations committed to preach, teach, and confess Christ Jesus as God’s Word alone so that men and women might stand justified before God, not through their own merit, but for Christ’s sake through faith alone. Together we stand:
- As children of God who have been saved by grace through faith alone in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone.
- As Christian Lutherans who believe the Holy Scripture is God’s revealed Word to us, spoken in Law and Gospel, and is the final authority for us in all matters of our faith and life.
- As Christian Lutherans who believe that the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions provide a solid foundation upon which we can confidently base our faith, beliefs and practices.
- As believers who, affirm the beliefs expressed in the Common Confession.
Guided by the Holy Scriptures and Lutheran Confessions, I will work together with like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ for the purpose of carrying forth the mission to provide resources and services for preaching, teaching, and confessing Jesus Christ as God’s Word for us and for our salvation.
Please pray with us — Good and Gracious Lord Jesus, You have called us and used us as a network in ways we could never have imagined. We thank you for your abiding presence, guidance, inspiration and direction. We live and breathe, serve and suffer, work and witness because of your holy presence as our Crucified and Risen Lord and Savior. You are God's Word for us and among us. You are Truth. You are our life. You are our salvation. Continue to call us to serve you alone. Commission us according to Your will to make disciples and teach them what You first taught us. Radically change us for you and your will, your work and your witness. Call us to call others to follow you as your disciples. You bought us for a price--your life--empower us to freely serve you alone. In your Holy Name, Amen.
