There is an LCMC congregation in need of your prayers and financial support.

When Katrina hit their area in 2005, this congregation, Peace Lutheran of Gulf Shores, Alabama, led by Pastor Michael Bonham and his wife Barbara, went to work helping the homeless and the hungry for many months. Many LCMC friends sent contributions and appreciated the work done in Jesus' name by this small group of Christians.

Because of the oil spill and all the damage, many of their own church members have been affected. Peace Lutheran needs our help. The church and community are feeling a great financial burden caused by this disaster.

Galatians 6:2 tells us to carry and share in each other’s burdens. This is a great opportunity for us to reach out and support this group of Christian brothers and sisters. They need our prayers and our financial help.

Please consider this congregation as an ongoing mission support project and/or send an individual financial gift to help them at this time. Our God loves a cheerful giver!
