WordAlone Network 2010 Annual Convention

Date Change!

April 18-19, 2010

The date of the 2010 WordAlone Network annual convention has been changed to April 18-19 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, Minn., to coordinate a Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ Leadership Conference with the WordAlone convention.

After the WordAlone board discovered during its recent quarterly meeting that the dates of the two events overlapped, the board asked staff to reschedule the convention, if possible, to complement the schedule of LCMC, a key partner in moving the course of Lutheranism toward evangelizing in the name of Jesus.

The LCMC leadership meeting is set for April 25-27 in Omaha, Neb., while WordAlone’s original convention dates were April 25-26.

The theme of the April 18-19 convention is “It’s a New Day,” which will be a celebration of WordAlone’s new direction as a servant to all confessing Lutheran churches by providing educational materials, resources, fellowship and services.
